Comparison
Looking for an OrthoBoost alternative?
OrthoBoost publishes that it is an orthodontic marketing agency founded by Dr Tyler Coles, offering Google and social advertising, conversion-focused websites, SEO and AI search visibility, with a website included in its three-month growth plan.
OrthoBoost and any OrthoBoost marks belong to their owner and are used on this page only to identify the company being compared. OrthoBoost is not affiliated with Hey32, has not reviewed or endorsed this page, and nothing here is a statement made by them. Everything described about OrthoBoost is taken from their own public website. Checked against startorthoboost.com, 31 August 2026. If any of it is out of date or wrong, write to hey@hey32.com and we will correct it.
The honest difference
Where Hey32 and OrthoBoost actually differ.
Hey32 will not pretend to a difference that is not there: OrthoBoost was started by an orthodontist too, and takes AI search visibility seriously, which most of this industry still does not. On the marketing itself, a practice comparing the two is comparing two credible options.
The difference is category. OrthoBoost, on its own description, is an agency: ads, SEO, visibility and a website to land them on. Hey32 is a platform that includes all of that and then continues past the enquiry into what happens to it. The new patient books online, completes intake before arriving, sees the treatment plan at the chair, signs the agreement that evening and starts an instalment plan the same day, inside the practice's own brand.
Put plainly: an agency is measured on the enquiry, and a platform is measured on the start. If a practice is already converting well and only needs more enquiries, an agency is the cheaper answer.
Side by side
What to compare, and what to ask.
The left column is what Hey32 does, which is ours to state. The right column is deliberately a question rather than an answer, because OrthoBoost does not publish everything a practice needs to know and we will not invent it.
| What to compare | Hey32 | Ask OrthoBoost |
|---|---|---|
| What happens after the click | Online bookings, intake, treatment planning, agreements, payment plans and a patient app, in your brand. | Ask what happens to an enquiry after it reaches your front desk, and what you still have to buy to handle it. |
| Published pricing | Yes, on the pricing page, in NZD, AUD and CAD. | Ask for the total annual cost in writing, including every processing and transaction line. Ask what happens to the included website build if you leave. |
| Who owns the website | You do. Website, domain, brand and data are handed over in working order on exit. | Ask, in writing, what happens to a website that came with a plan once the plan ends. |
| Contract length | Six-month runway after launch, then sixty days' notice, no termination fee. | Ask the minimum term and what leaving requires. |
| AI and search visibility | Every page built for search, answer engines and AI assistants, with health checked automatically. | Fair comparison here. Ask both of us to show the work rather than the claim. |
| Proof | Milk Orthodontics, two clinics in Auckland, running the whole platform daily. Search clicks about 180 to 500 per 28 days after the rebuild. | Ask for a live practice you can click, and a Search Console number rather than a testimonial. |
Every entry in the right-hand column is a question to put to OrthoBoost, not a claim about them. Where they publish an answer we have said so and dated it; where they do not, we have left it as a question rather than guessing.
Questions
OrthoBoost and Hey32: what practices ask
Is Hey32 a marketing agency?
No. Hey32 designs and runs the practice's website and its growth engine, and it also runs the patient-facing platform: bookings, intake, treatment planning, agreements, instalment plans and a branded patient app. A marketing agency is measured on enquiries generated. Hey32 is built around what happens to them afterwards.
Should an orthodontic practice use an agency or a platform?
If the practice converts enquiries well and simply needs more of them, an agency is the cheaper and more focused purchase. If enquiries are arriving and starts are not following, more enquiries will not fix it, and the money is better spent on the path from consultation to signed agreement.
Do we own the website if we leave?
With Hey32, yes: the website, domain, brand and data belong to the practice and are handed over in working order, and it is written into the agreement. Whoever you are considering, ask for that in writing, and ask specifically what happens to a website that came bundled with a plan once the plan ends. The answer varies by company and is worth having on paper either way.
