Hey32 was founded by Dr Shaz MacAvoy, a specialist orthodontist who owns Milk Orthodontics in Auckland. Like most practice owners, she had a website from one vendor, patient communications from another, forms on paper, treatment presentations in a slide deck, and payment plans in a spreadsheet. Each piece was fine. Together they were slow, expensive and impossible to improve.

So the pieces were rebuilt as one platform inside Milk: the website with its games and kids' club, the patient portal, digital intake, chairside treatment planning, signed agreements, instalment payment plans, messaging, records, and a growth engine with the practice's own Google numbers. It has run Milk's two clinics in production every day since, and the results are on this site.
